Hello everyone! After a brief interlude from blog posts, as a result of a hellish January, I am back! Today I thought I would share with you some of the things that have been helping me get through, arguably, the worst month of the year…

IKEA Succulents

After Christmas had been packed away my bedroom needed something new to spruce it up and to inspire me… Whenever I need some serious interior inspiration Pinterest is my number one destination and I noticed – and quickly got obsessed with – all the cute Cacti and succulents that are around at the moment. They add a fun touch to a space and have transformed my bedroom into a space where I feel calm and inspired.

Candlelight Baths

For me the only cure for a hellish day is to come home and run myself an over the top bath overflowing with bubbles, bubbling with oils and surrounded by candles. With the rain pattering on the windows outside and utter silence it really does solve any problems and is a true everyday luxury. (Btw if anyone has experience with any Le Labo scents please let me know which is your favourite as I want to order one of their bath oils!)

Cashmere Scarf

January, since it’s the middle of winter, is always a bitterly cold month – which I don’t necessarily mind. However, being cold is not fun. As a Christmas gift I got a wonderful cashmere scarf from Hogarth which is so soft it feels like I’m wearing clouds around my neck. Definitely worth the price!

Tell me what you have been loving in the comments,

Succulents are the best! So easy to care for and they add a nice personality 🙂 Oh I’ve been dying for a cashmere scarf!

Hope February is better for you!
